Durring this event there was much hatred for the Black students who were intigrating into little rock high. They were met with so much hatred and fear for there lives that the government sent in people to protect the kids. The kids had to be protected because there was a threat on there life. The Federal protection also had to be there for the kids to be able to get into the school. The Govoner wouldn't allow the student in. This shows how unwilling the towns people were willing to change.

The movment also showed that the government would back up there decisions. The kids who also went to the high school prooved that they were strong enough to make a difference. Finally it prooved that a community can make a big difference if they stand against the hetred.
